Finally, a sport for the rest of us!

This is “jugger.” Apparently originating from a film I’ve never heard of called The Salute of the Jugger, the sport involves carrying around a big stick in hopes of getting the ball into the other team’s goal. The best part? You can hit people with the stick — and if you’re really not a fan of what’s going on, you can even wrestle the opposing players.

Unfortunately, the sport hasn’t taken off in the U.S. yet, but there are apparently teams throughout Germany and in several other countries. I say we make our own — violence, fighting, big sticks? What’s not to love?
